The monumental building of Appartementen Centro used to be part of the N.V. ODA-Staalwerk and refers to Oda van Brabant, the patron saint of Sint-Oedenrode. In recent years the building has been empty, so it is high time to give it a new purpose.
The exterior walls with remarkable steel windows were retained, but inside the municipal monument was given a major facelift. Nevertheless, the original look & feel was retained in the interior of the rooms. No less than 50 solar panels provide the whole with sustainable energy.
As a resident of Sint-Oedenrode I am very proud that I could put my shoulders under this beautiful project. This was partly due to years of experience as a manager in the cycling world. And that affinity for the sport is still there, so I included the link when designing the apartments. At Centro I would like to give you a taste of a homely atmosphere, filled with a rich cycling history.
